Abandoned Resort Image
On the outskirts of Taipei, in Taiwan, is this abandoned resort. It looks so cool. Imagine if it was a functioning hotel! .....We would love to restore it. But the story goes they were trying to create a luxurious vacation spot for the affluent and rich streaming out of Taipei. But, apparently things got weird including many accidents during construction.

The locals say the area is now haunted..... This explains why the area was abandoned. But what a great design! See for yourself. . . if you dare!! :

I think it looks post-human. It's the relic of a future age which got transported back in time in order to warn us, but no one's paying attention. Nov shmoz ka pop!

It is a story of workers that started the project- one man lost his job and was found dead (killed himself) in one of the rooms being built. A relative of that man blamed the site supervisor for this. Later, that supervisor was found dead. From then on whoever took over the project ended up dead. Voices were heard even during the day while work was being done. Workers always seem to hear someone at one of the rooms- but upon closer inspection, no one there. They say they see blood splatters on walls at times. This scared many other people- up to the investors that wanted the place built, delays and eventually no one showing up to work because of fear- ended construction.

hmm...kind of interesting architecture...kinda reminds me of that resort area being built in the Amazon....structures in the trees....and like the comment above...maybe the future is being transported to the past...who knows....and....are there really wealthy people streaming out of Taipei?

These are really cool pictures. I'm surprised we haven't seen any of these in the US. I could definitely see them in Florida or California. Or maybe into cool college apartments.

i live there now, actually. in one of the bottom ones. you don't even pay rent cause no one wants to live there. It's a pretty good neighbourhood, we have barbeques and stuff, but stay away from number 17, I think something bad happened there. Benny
