Obama sushi.............................(obamasuchistitch.jpg)

A president who looks great on your dinner table? Yes, I said on. Thanks to a sushi maestro in Japan, if we haven't already had our fill of the new US president, we can now have Obama with wasabi.

Kawasumi-sensei, a sushi professor at Tokyo University, created a futomaki likeness using brown rice for the skin (and ears), black sesame seeds for the hair, mini shrimps for the lips, and fish-paste for the president's teeth.

The final result was laid out on a framed plate alongside a tuna-and-squid flag, with USA written out in egg, and yellow-rice smiley faces. Apparently, these days, Mr Obama misses being able to sit in coffee shops unrecognized. If this sushi catches on, he'll no doubt be staying away from sushi bars too. RM
