It's like something out of Alice in Wonderland. Or a bad storm. But this topsy-turvy house is part of an exhibition in Trassenheide, Germany. Created by Klaudiusz Golos and Sebastion Mikuciuk, it's on display at Die Welt Steht Kopf in Ostseebad.
Though there are other upside down houses in the world (in Lee Vining, California; in Syzmbark, Poland; in Japan; in Russia; in Florida, to name but a few), Die Welt Steht Kopf ('The world is upside down') is unique for one reason: its interior is completely inverted too.
Apparently it took a while to get the project together, as it was hard to find furniture that could be hung over people's heads. Funnily enough.
It's open to the public and affords great opportunities for photographs (in a Pisa-ish kind of way). RM
